The luminaria ceremony is a very special time during the relay. It will be Friday, July 23 at 9 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend the ceremony and to honor or remember a loved one with a luminaria. Luminaria can be dedicated whether you attend the ceremony or not.
The cost of a luminaria is $10. Checks should be made payable to the American Cancer Society. Luminaria bags can be purchased and returned to First Savings Bank in Beresford, Bank 360 in Beresford, or by contacting Dawn at 763-2556 or Rosemary at 253-2235.
