Seniors still attract new players

 On July 20, Ernie Jensen and Lynn Muller came to play the scramble format with the seniors. This brought the attendance numbers up to 31, which is tie for the season high turn out.

First place went to Max Andersen, Jim Reed and Elmer Mount with a 33. Second place team was Dennis Tomhave, Floyd Boschee and Joe Conroy at 35. Capturing third with the better 36 was the team of Rex Huska, Cleland Cook, Dick Kellogg and Jack Doyle. Settling for fourth with a lesser 36 was the team of Dick Burbach, Jim Stewart and Fritz Bartels. Coming in with a 37 for the fifth place was Ken Beringer, Ernie Jensen and Morris Marcotte.

 The long birdie putts of the day were as follows: Allan Clem made a 52-footer on #6, Jack Doyle made a 30-footer on #7, Dick Burbach dropped a 25-footer on #6 while Jim Stewart sank a 20-footer on #2.
