Swing Batter!

Tyler Candor of the Vermillion Red Sox swings and misses at a pitch while Brookings catcher Mike Murdy tries to come up with the ball. The Red Sox faced the Cubbys Saturday afternoon, Aug. 7, at Riverside Park in Yankton. The night before, the Red Sox slipped by the Rapid City A's 1-0, giving the local team the opportunity to advance to the second weekend of action at the State "A" Amateur Baseball Tournament.
