The South Dakota Game, Fish & Parks Department and local volunteers are planning a free youth activity day Saturday, Aug. 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Clay County Trap Shooting Range.
The event is limited to 70 youth, and there is no cost to attend. Pre-registration is required. To pre-register, contact Conservation Officer Brian Humphrey at 506-387-5603, and leave a message.
The activity day is open to youth between the ages of 8 and 17. They must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Each participant's parent or legal guardian must sign a waiver form before a youth may participate in the day's events.
Activities will include archery, trap shooting, BB gun, trapping, .22 rifle, turkey calling and waterfowl calling.
