South Dakota Attorney General Marty J. Jackley announces that 14 officers from across South Dakota have received their 911 Basic Certification. Alicia Kloster of the Clay Area Emergency Communications was among the class.
This was the 35th 911 Basic Certification course with graduation commencing on Friday, Sept. 24. All graduates of the 911 Training Certification must complete a two-week program. The certification course is overseen by the South Dakota Law Enforcement Training Academy under the office of the attorney general.
"Congratulations to the class for receiving 911 certification. On behalf of the law enforcement community and the people of the state of South Dakota, I thank you for your dedication to public service," said Jackley.
