Times are changing, but change does not come easily for the aristocratic family depicted in Vermillion High School's production of The Cherry Orchard by Anton Chekhov. Come and enjoy laughs and irony as we watch these characters try so hard to maintain the social order to which they are accustomed, all while highlighting human foibles in all of us. The play will be performed on Friday, Oct. 8, Saturday, Oct. 9 and Sunday, Oct. 10 in the VHS performing arts center. Curtain times are 7:30 p.m. for Friday and Saturday's shows and 2:30 p.m. for Sunday's matinee. Admission is $4 for adults, $2 for students and senior citizens, and free to those with a Vermillion School District activity card. Tickets can be purchased at the door.
