Chamber Business:The 2nd Annual Parade of Lights is Fri., Dec. 3 at 6:30 pm in Downtown Vermillion.  At the end of the parade please join Santa & Mrs. Claus as they light the Community Christmas Tree at Ratingen Platz on the corner of Market & Main St. After the tree lighting children & parents are invited to the Vermillion Public Library for "Stockings for Soldiers," an opportunity to make ornaments to take home, and to decorate a stocking for a soldier serving overseas. If you would like to submit an entry into the Parade of Lights, entry forms are available at  or at the VCDC office at 116 Market Street. Vehicle power inverters are available at Dakota PC Warehouse. There will be a trophy and a prize of $25 in Vermillion Bucks for the best entry!  Please return the registration form by Monday, Nov. 29th to the VCDC office.  Sponsored by the VCDC Special Events Committee.Lunch with Santa: Christmas coloring contest! Over Museum's 43rd annual Festival of Holiday Fun will take place on Sun., Dec. 5 from 1-4:30 pm. There will be the annual "best in the state" bake sale and the Gift Shop will be open during the festival.
