Beware of Potential Scam: A local business reported receiving a phone call from Yellow Blue Media Website Co. in Buffalo, NY requesting payment for a one-year trial period for their service. According to Jodie Swanson with the SD Attorney Generals Office, other South Dakota businesses have received similar calls from companies with names like Yellow Blue Media, Yellow Pages, Yellow Book.com. It is an unscrupulous company they shut down and start up in other states and use similar tactics. If an invoice should be received, call the SD Attorney Generals office at 1-800-300-1986.
