Commercial drivers urged to buckle up

The South Dakota Highway Patrol reminds drivers of commercial vehicles that they may encounter drinking and impaired drivers this holiday season. Inspector Lyngstad of the South Dakota Motor Carriers also states that any driver of a commercial with any measurable amount of alcohol in his or her system will receive an out of service order.Commercial drivers are urged to not put themselves or others at risk, and to remember to buckle up, as that may be the best defense against a drunk driver.
