The Clay County Board of Commissioners is accepting applications from individuals who are interested in serving on the Clay County Planning & Zoning Commission. One opening is available. Appointment is for a five-year term. All residents of Clay County are eligible. The Clay County Planning & Zoning Commission is a five man advisory board whose members are appointed by the Clay County Board of Commissioners.The job of the planning & zoning commission is to plan the long-range growth of Clay County and review the development requests in the unincorporated area of the county.Regular commission meetings are held the last Monday of each month at 5:15 p.m.For information, call the Clay County Planning & Zoning Department at 605-677-7145.  Applications must be received by 5 p.m. Dec. 22.
