On Tuesday, December 21 at 7 p.m. in the WH Over Museum in Vermillion, Lisa Yager will present her research on the 59-mile segment of the Missouri National Recreational River. She will discuss the changes in off-channel habitats (backwaters and side channels) from pre-dam to the present, as well as water quality characteristics of backwaters (both natural and restored). Yager is a biologist with the National Park Service at the Missouri National Recreational River. This presentation of her master's thesis research is sponsored by the Living River Group of the Sierra Club.
