Students, faculty and staff from The University of South Dakota Sanford School of Medicine and School of Health Sciences will serve roast beef and all of the trimmings to the Vermillion community from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 13 at the atrium of the Andrew E. Lee Memorial Medicine and Science Building.The dinner, a special Holiday Welcome Table event, is free of charge to guests. More than 350 meals will be served. In addition to the roast beef dinner, live music and a children's activity room will be provided. This is the second year that the Sanford School of Medicine and the School of Health Sciences at USD have sponsored this holiday event.The Welcome Table was founded in 2001 to provide an inviting place each week where community members can come together to share food, fellowship, service and a sense of community while dining on a warm and nutritious meal in a safe environment.
