The Red Dawgs wheelchair basketball team will play an exhibition game on Saturday, Feb. 5 at 3:30 p.m. at the DakotaDome in Vermillion.
The Red Dawgs will face the Vermillion All-Stars for the exhibition contest. Tickets for the game are $3.
In addition, the Red Dawgs will also compete later that day at halftime of the South Dakota vs. North Dakota women�s and men�s basketball games on Saturday. The Coyote basketball doubleheader starts at 6 p.m. with the women�s game with the men�s game to follow.
The Red Dawgs are a group of young athletes (ages 19 and under) with permanent lower-limb disabilities who are from Nebraska, Iowa and South Dakota. Dylan Fischbach of Vermillion, son of USD athletic trainer Bruce Fischbach, is a member of the Red Dawgs team.
