Terra Lynn Wensel-Ingram, 35, passed away Saturday, March 5, 2011 at her home in Vermillion.
Terra was born on Oct. 18, 1975 in Cedar Rapids, IA to Michael and Linda (Symonds) Wensel. She moved to Burbank with her family at a young age, where she attended and graduated from Vermillion High School as well as attending the University of South Dakota.
On Nov. 27, 2003 she married the love of her life, Thomas Ingram, and they spent their life together until her passing.
Terra was fiercely loyal to her family and friends. Her greatest times were spent caring for and playing with her nieces and nephews as well as fishing with both of her grandfathers. She was also considered the glue that held the family network together. She could always be counted on to use tools like Facebook to make sure the family stayed connected.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Ingram of Vermillion; her parents, Michael and Linda Wensel of Burbank; her sister, Meghan (John) Johnson of Burbank; her brother, Brian (Cam) Wensel of Garden Grove, CA; and her nieces and nephews, Shayna Cody, Cheyann Cody, Avery Johnson, Ayden Johnson and Kase Johnson, all of Burbank.
She is preceded in death by her grandfathers, Floyd Wensel and Robert Symonds; and her uncle, Philip Symonds.
Visitation and video tribute were held at the Kober Funeral Home in Vermillion Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 5 to 7 p.m. with a prayer service to follow.
