For the second session on April 19, weather was very pleasant. In a three-man scramble format this week, the best score was the team of Turk Pilker, Gary Prasek and Don Baer at 35. Pilker thrilled his teammates with a 15-yard chip in at #2 for a birdie. Coming in for second place with a 37 was Ross King, Dick Kellogg and Vern Holter.
A two-person team playing in the three-man mode was Max Anderson and Bob Lund and they captured third place with another 37. The difference between second and third places determined by the handicap holes. The turnout for this second week was 14, which is exactly the same as the first week.
