They faced Worthington first, and won 44-14. Next, they met up with the Rebels of Sioux Falls. The boys played like a team and came through with a victory 38-35.
Two wins placed them in the championship game Vermillion vs. Sioux Falls Chargers. It was a close game, but Vermillion pulled away at the end to win the game 31-21, and took first place in Division 3 of the Tri-State Tournament. A championship to end the season!
