The Grand Conductress, Gayle Parmeter, Huron, made her official visit to Juno Chapter 44, O.E.S., March 11.
Worthy Matron Grace Bick and Worthy Patron Calvin Rosenbaum, presided over the day�s activities in the Masonic Temple.
Grand Conductress conducted a school of instruction at 2 p.m. Several sections of the Ritual were performed.
Chapter recessed for supper at a local caf�. In evening the candle lighting service was performed by Tom R. Hummel, Star Points and Grace Bick as soloist. The Degrees were conferred upon the new member.
Introductions were conducted by Kym Hummel and Vera Emerson as follows: Official Visitor Gayle Parmeter; Past Grand Matrons, Phyllis King and Hazel Urevig, Brookings, Connie White, Parker and Jan Gruening, Reliance; Past Grand Patrons, Arnie Appelt, Brookings, and Calvin Rosenbaum, Vermillion. Grand officers introduced were Terri Veen, Grand Adah, Brookings and Electa Jane Horustra, Yankton. Grand Committee members, Host and Hostess Janelle Kribell, Yankton; Registration, Jan Grage, Centerville; Education, Grace Bick, Vermillion; and Membership, Marvella Horstman, Sioux Falls. Protem officers assisting were Jan Gruening, Jan Grage, Beverly and Vernon Anderson, Debra McNary and Tom R. Hummel and Suzanne Willadren and John Ryger.
The Grand Conductress gave a short address. A monetary gift was presented to instructor Gayle. A coin march will go to S.D. Education fund. Evening refreshments were served by Betty Johnson, Jan Rosenbaum, Beverly Orr and Betty McCambridge. Juno�s Past Martrans served salad luncheon at noon in the Temple.
