Gov. Dennis Daugaard�s executive reorganization order becomes statutorily effective April 12, resulting in the new Department of Labor and Regulation (DLR).
The Department of Labor will receive regulatory programs formerly in the Department of Revenue and Regulation. The specific programs included in the transfer include: Division of Banking; Division of Insurance; Division of Securities; Banking Commission; Real Estate Commission; Abstractors Board of Examiners; and Appraiser Certification Program.
