VHS to present comic play ‘Scapino’ May 6-8

Vermillion High School Students will present the slapstick comedy "Scapino!" May 6-8 in the VHS Performing Arts Center.

The play, set in 17th-century Italy, tells the story of two sets of young lovers struggling to stay together against their fathers' will.

They seek help from Scapino, a jolly trickster whose antics make fools of the fathers while saving the lovers.

Showtimes are 7:30 p.m. on May 6 and 7 and 2:30 p.m. on Sunday May 8. Tickets are available at the door.
