Harold W. Hubert, 75 years old, of Sioux Falls, passed away Monday, June 13, 2011 at his home. Mass of Christian Burial was 10 a.m., Thursday, June 16, 2011, at the Gym at St Joseph Catholic Church. Visitation was at 3 p.m., Wednesday, with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m., and a prayer service with rosary at 7 p.m., all at Miller Funeral Home, 507 South Main, Sioux Falls. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery in Vermillion, at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 16.
Harold was born on Jan. 10, 1936, in Burbank, to George and Odella Hubert.
Harold grew up and attended schools in Beresford, and graduated from Vermillion High School. He was united in marriage to Jeannette Girard on Nov. 18, 1972, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Sioux City, IA.
Harold and Jeannette lived in Sioux Falls all of their married lives. He worked for John Morrells until 1986, when he retired. Harold was also a devout member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Sioux Falls.
Those left to cherish Harolds memory include; his wife, Jeannette; brother Raymond (Phyllis) of Brandon, SD, and twin brother Gerald (Connie) of Sioux Falls; sisters, Helen (George) Baity of Vermillion, and Bea McGuire of Beresford; and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives, and his many friends. Harold is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
