Vermillion�s two VFW Teener baseball teams have swung into full-scale summer schedules now that the school year has ended.
The VFW Post #3061 15-16 Teeners, coached by Bill Settles and Jason Huska, were to open their season last night (Thursday) at home against Beresford. That ballclub is also slated to play at Prentis Park at 6 p.m. Monday against Dakota Valley and next Thursday with Canton as the opponent at 6:30 p.m.
Meanwhile, the 13-14 Teeners, coached by Tyler Williamson and Steve Miller, were scheduled to take their 1-1 record into Lennox Wednesday night. On their schedule for next week is a 6:30 p.m. game at Parker on Tuesday.
