Rain, rain go away

Despite being located nowhere near the flooding Missouri River, this field located along Highway 50 just outside of Vermillion now has a veritable lake in it thanks to the recent rainfall. After a number of heavy rainstorms throughout the summer, the area was hit Tuesday afternoon with several more cloudbursts.
