Resa Fincher, senior education director of Junior Achievement (JA) of South Dakota has won the organization�s 2011 Rising Star Award. The award is given to mid-level staff members who are emerging leaders within the organization and who demonstrate outstanding, measurable success in executing their responsibilities.
Nominations were submitted by JA Area presidents across the country, and four award recipients were selected by a panel comprised of Junior Achievement USA� executives and operations staff.
Resa received the award at the recent Junior Achievement USA National Leadership Conference held in Boston. Resa has been with JA of South Dakota for five and a half years, and during that time she has demonstrated a commitment to the success of JA and accepts increasingly important leadership roles within the JA organization.
�Resa is a worthy recipient of the Rising Star Award,� said Kristie Fiegen. �Resa brings enthusiasm and passion to helping JA empower young people to own their economic success, and is a strong ambassador for JA to our students and stakeholders.�
