Madisen Lavin of Vermillion raced in the Iron Kids Triathlon held in Sioux Falls June 18 at the Elmen Center and won the 9-11-year-old female division qualifying her for the national competition to be held in Des Moines, IA, Sept. 17. She finished the 150-yard swim, four-mile bike ride and one-mile run in 28 minutes.
