The final week of the girls tennis regular season will find Vermillion hosting Mitchell Monday and then participating in a triangular with Washington and Lincoln in Sioux Falls next Thursday.
Last week the Tanagers lost to St. Thomas More, 8-1, and to Madison, 6-3, in a triangular at Madison and lost to Yankton, 8-1, in a home dual, but one thing stayed the same in all three duals � the play of Vermillion's No. 1 doubles team of Claire Jones and Val Robinson. They won by 10-3 scores against STM and Yankton and by 10-0 over Madison. The other two team points against Madison came from Jones and Robinson in their respective singles matches.
