The high school girls tennis season reaches the midway point during the coming week, and Vermillion's team has a busy schedule as the rush toward the state tournament begins.
The Tanagers will be at Brandon Valley for a dual Saturday, attend a triangular at Madison Tuesday and host Yankton in a dual match next Thursday.
Last week Vermillion lost a 9-0 dual to Sioux Falls Roosevelt, but No. 1 singles player Claire Jones took her Rough Rider opponent to a tiebreaker before losing her match.
