- Library Campaign Update: The fund raising campaign for the Vermillion Public Library is off to a very good start. After eight weeks into the campaign, over 25 percent of the $200,000 goal has been raised. In addition, numerous verbal pledges have been received, putting the campaign over the 50 percent mark. All of the volunteer workers want to say "thank you" to those who have given or pledged to give during this year and next year.
So that the campaign can be brought to a close within the next few weeks, the fund raising committee is asking that any gifts or pledge cards be returned as soon as possible to: Vermillion Public Library Foundation, 18 Church Street, Vermillion, SD 57069. If you have any questions about the campaign, please call Roger Kozak at 605-677-9030 or Jerry Johnson at 605-624-3540.
