VHS spooky play set

Vermillion High School thespians are getting into the spirit of Halloween with bats wings, chilling screams, bloody fangs, and a castle crypt as they prepare for their upcoming production of Count Dracula Oct. 7, 8 and 9. The play, set at the turn of the 20th century, combines all the thrills of the classic Dracula story with the campiness of an old horror movie.

Pictured are Paul Granaas and Katie Zimmerman.

Saturday's show begins at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday's at 2:30 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens, and admission is free to those with a Vermillion School District activity card.
