Vermillion High School thespians are getting into the spirit of Halloween with bats wings, chilling screams, bloody fangs, and a castle crypt as they prepare for their upcoming production of Count Dracula Oct. 7, 8 and 9. The play, set at the turn of the 20th century, combines all the thrills of the classic Dracula story with the campiness of an old horror movie.
A special late night, 10 p.m. showing on Friday, Oct. 7 kicks off the performance weekend. Saturday's show begins at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday's at 2:30 p.m. The cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens, and admission is free to those with a Vermillion School District activity card. Tickets are available at the door.
