Gayville Hall presents "Waylon, Willie and the Boys," starring John and Susan McNeill, Nick Schwebach, and Owen DeJong, at 8 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, in Gayville.
John McNeill, of Springfield, who is the emcee at Gayville Hall, leads the two-hour tribute to the "outlaw" country music that came out of Texas in the 1960s and '70s. The show premiered three years ago in Gayville.
McNeill also created the venue's tributes to Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Merle Haggard. His wife Susan plays bass and will sing a Jesse Coulter tune or two.
Schwebach, who plays lead and steel guitars, and DeJong, on fiddle, have performed in Gayville Hall's other country music tributes and lead the band Poker Alice. They are from rural Wakonda.
Gayville Hall is located at 502 Washington Street in Gayville. Tickets are $12.50 at the door, or $15 reserved. Call (605)-267-2859.
