Madison may have lost a state gymnastics championship last year for the first time since the mid-'90s, but that doesn't mean the Bulldogs still aren't a dominant team in their sport.
The visitors accumulated a team score of 141.9 points to defeat the Tanagers with 119.1 in a dual at Vermillion High School last week.
In the dual against Madison, Morgan Hower was the Tanagers' best in the all-around standings with a sixth-place total score of 29.8. Among the top six placers in each of the four individual events, only Jamie Moos, sixth in the bars with a 7.75 score, represented VHS.
