Molly Radigan doesn't mind being surrounded by box upon box of food items in the back room of the Main Street Pub. It's just what she and her husband, Todd, who co-own the Main Street business, hoped to see after they held an appreciation days event Jan. 11 through 14. Anyone who brought in a food item was served a free meal during those days. "We did this to help out the Vermillion Food Pantry, since there is always a need there for donations. We also wanted to show our appreciation to our customers as well as hopefully find new customers by inviting them to dine here by presenting a coupon and a food donation." In addition to the many boxes of food collected by the Main Street Pub, Molly added that Jones' Food Center will match those donations with their own gift of groceries to the food pantry, up to $300.
