Alpha Phi to host cardiac arrest jail

The Psi Chapter of Alpha Phi at the University of South Dakota is hosting its first "Cardiac Arrest Jail" philanthropy event partnering with Sigma Alpha Epsilon at the Munster University Center from noon to 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15.

The event is open to everyone in the area, including faculty members, Vermillion residents and students. Participants will be able to put certain faculty members, student-athletes, student leaders and others in jail for $3 for a short period of time.

Proceeds from the event will directly benefit the Alpha Phi Foundation, which supports causes that raise awareness of and fund research for woman's heart health.
