Mira Ristic of Largo, FL, is pleased to announce the engagement of her daughter, Maya, to Brian Allen Clanton, son of Will and Geri Clanton, of Lincoln, NE. Maya's father was the late Dr. Zoran Ristic, a renowned scientist at the University of South Dakota who later became a plant physiologist with the USDA.

Maya is a graduate of Kansas State University, and works as client marketing manager at National Research Corporation, a large healthcare research company.
Brian is a graduate of the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, and works as director of operations for the Lincoln Financial Group.
