Legislative leaders joined representatives of the South Dakota Board of Regents and Gov. Dennis Daugaard March 2 to commemorate the signing of Senate Bill 188. Senate Bill 188 authorizes the establishment and operation of research parks on land controlled by the state's public university system. The new law aims to encourage research park development, assuring entrepreneurs of a framework for cooperation among state agencies. On hand for the bill signing were (from left): Sen.
