SPEARFISH, S.D. (AP) — Jordyn Kirk had a game-high 13 points and eight rebounds as Sisseton defeated Vermillion 49-37 Friday in the consolation bracket of the South Dakota girls Class A basketball tournament.
Kirk was 5-for-7 from the line, helping the Redmen (22-3) to an 18-for-22 showing.
Danni Frederick had nine points, all from 3-point range.
Kelly Amundson and Val Robinson led Vermillion (18-6) with 11 points apiece.
The Tanagers shot just 33 percent from the field.
