Lucus Anglin competed in the AAU World Folkstyle Championships in Spearfish, on April 16-17.
In his first-round match he faced Clay Gerhardt from Bismarck, ND. Anglin picked up a 8-2 decision.
In the quarter-final match-up Anglin faced a Cheyenne, WY, student and won by a fall in the second period. In the semi-final match Anglin won by a fall in the first period.
In the championship, Anglin squared off with Cole Larson of Sturgis, winning by a fall in the first period. With this win he became an AAU All-American.
