Work to resume on spillway bridge

The U.S. Army Corp of Engineers is scheduled to resume work repainting the U.S. Highway 18/ Highway 281 Fort Randall Spillway bridge on Wednesday, April 11.

One lane of the bridge will be closed to complete the painting in phases. Traffic will be required to stop and take turns going over the structure. A 12-foot width restriction will be in place. Over-width traffic will have to take an alternate route.

All work is scheduled to be completed by August 31.

The Prime Contractor for this project is EVCO National, Inc.
