Wednesday Morning ladies league
Good Morning – it is May 16 and a wonderful day to be out.
We had 22 ladies gathering today for luncheon.
Barb Boone and Agnes Mockler provided the delicious desserts.
I had one of each.
Our $5 drawing winners were: Edith Nelson and again – ME! Guess I have a lucky streak going here!
Quarters winners were: Mary Bartles, Beth Silvano, Joyce Zimmerman, and well –ME Pat Steckelberg, Janet Hof, and Jan Chapman.
See what I mean – lucky streak!!
I did not receive a report from the Bridge ladies. There was one table though and — yes, someone had to be HIGH!
Dominoes report: There were threee tables. With the winners as follows:
Round 1– Joan Olson, Agnes Mockler, and Eileen Turner.
Round 2 – Jan Chapman, Mary Bartles, and Joyce Zimmerman.
Round 3 – Vaneta Youngworth, Beth Silvano, and Eileen Turner.
Total Score: Jan Chapman, Mary Bartles, and Joyce Zimmerman.
Golf Report: Today we played "Roll the Dice." This game was chosen to
a golfer who had not golfed for three years would not feel pressured. She ( Beth Silvano) had no trouble keeping up with the rest of us. Great golfing Beth. Glad to have you back. There were seven golfers – great number but we would like more! Come join us.
Edith Nelson won with a final count of 21 and Mary Lea Hennies was second with 28. A little tidbit – a weird thing happened on hole number 2! When I putted from off the green my ball hit Beth's ball and thankfully it put her closed to the hole. As long as my putt was I am surprised it happened.
There are still many weeks left of fun and friendship. Join us. There will be no golf though on May 30 as there is a tournament but luncheon and afternoon games are still on.

Wednesday Evening ladies league
Wednesday, May 16, was another beautiful evening for ladies' golf. The WELL board still cannot get everything coordinated and, again, forgot to put out a pin prize tonight. Lynette Wulff found six golf balls while walking the course; she actually found seven but the gentleman asked for it back.
The birdies were flying tonight with three on #3 by Mary Mock, Lynette Wulff and Jennifer Steele. Susan Oberle had a birdie on #9 and Kathy Merrigan-Manning had one on #5. Jennifer Steele had a great round with low gross of 39 and low net of 27. Congratulations Jennifer! The 50/50 of $6 was won by Jonie Hook.
