Wednesday morning ladies association
Well, today had strange weather. Golf, or no golf?
Twenty-eight wonderful ladies came to luncheon today.
Desserts were great and provided by Linda Sorenson and Rose Mart. Thanks, ladies!
We welcome a new member today: Shirley Raab
It pays to join our lovely group of ladies – Shirley also won one of our $5 drawings! Karine Amundson was the other lucky winner.
Quarters were won by Janet Hof, Brenda Chatham, Mary Lea Hennies, June Wagner, Barb Boone, Jan Chapman, Darlene Engbrecht and Agnes Mockler.
Bridge report: There were two tables today. The winners were – High: Mary Lea Hennies and second High-Ellie Davis. Great to see bridge is having more players.
Golf report: Well, all but one lady backed out of golf today! It was "damp," "windy," and to me, it felt a little too "cool." This did not stop Mary Lea Hennies. No, she played, anyway. It was three-person best ball. How? There was Mary Lea, Her and Herself. They had a blast! Mary Lea won the dollar. Good going, Mary Lea.
Dominoes report: Three tables today. Dominoes is popular!
Round 1: Eileen Turner, Karine Amundson and Brenda Chatham.
Round 2: Janet Hof, Darlene Engbrecht and Rula Hatch.
Round 3: Judy Gregoire, Barb Boone and Vaneta Youngworth.
Total score: Jan Chapman, Rula Hatch and Darlene Engbrecht.
Great fun, great friendships. Come join us – it is not too late!

They tied for low gross with a 43 and low net with a 33. Susan came out the biggest winner with her name being drawn for the 50/50. She won $14. Nice job ladies.
Be sure and call The Bluffs clubhouse to sign up for the Rally for the Cure, 677-7058. It will be July 11 and is a four-person scramble team. Each team will be playing with a professional golfer. It will be a good chance to get a free lesson and play with a pro. We hope you will join us!
