  • Auxiliary Rummage Sale from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at Vermillion Eagles, 114 W. Main St.
  • Church-Wide Rummage Sale from 4-8 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m.-noon Saturday in the fellowship hall at Trinity Lutheran Church, 816 E. Clark St. Proceeds will go to the National Youth Gathering participants with 10 percent saved out for benevolence to Trinity. Hot dogs will be served on Friday and cinnamon rolls/cofee on Saturday. Face painting for children.

  • St. Agnes School's 50th Anniversary Celebration. Everyone is welcome to attend. The weekend kick-off is Friday at 7:30 p.m. with a one-person comedy show, "Bible Bingo," produced by Nuns4Fun. Tickets: 415 in advance or $25 at the door.
  • 4-H Fundraiser. Rain or shine, rent your booth space at the Clay County Fairgrounds for one stop rummage shopping during the Vermillion citywide garage sale and help support Clay County 4-H! Direct sellers and donations welcome.

  • Overeaters Anonymous at 9 a.m., Sanford Vermillion Medical Center, 20 S. Plum St., administration entrance just south of hospital entrance in the board room. Overeaters Anonymous is a 12-step program for people with eating disorders and struggles.

  • All-You-Can-Eat French Toast Breakfast prepared by the Knights of Columbus from 9-10:30 a.m. with freewill offering taken at the door. The proceeds will benefit Campaign for St. Agnes School.

  • Vermillion Area Farmers Market from 3-7 p.m. at the Clay County Fairgrounds.
  • Dreaming Big Summer Film Festival featuring, "Door to Door," at 6:30 p.m. in the Community Room of the Vermillion Public Library. Lemonade and popcorn provided. Free and open to the public.
  • Job Search Assistance Program (JSAP): The South Dakota Department of Labor and Regulation will be holding a JSAP from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. at 1024 W. Cherry St. The JSAP is designed to assist and train job seekers on how to find and secure employment. Some of the topics included are job search and retention skills, networking, the hidden job market, resumes, applications and proper interview techniques. It is provided at no charge and open to the public.
