Mentors needed in area

The Clay-Union Foundation is seeking adult mentors to match with youth. The program has a 13-year-old boy in Elk Point, a 12-year-old boy in Jefferson and two14-year-old girls in Elk Point, as well as a 16-year-old girl in Vermillion.

Mentors can make a big impact on a child's life, and the program concentrates on spending time with the matches to build a good relationship.

Please call John Gille at (605) 421-5050, e-mail jgille60@yahoo.com or go to the Web site www.clay-unionfoundation.org  for an application.

The program is supported in part by the United Way of Vermillion, many area businesses and individual donors. It has been matching youth for 15 years, and would like to add new members and matches.
