15-16 Teeners begin Region 1A play Monday

Vermillion's 15-16 Teeners will play Irene in the first round of the Region 1A tournament at 8 p.m. Monday at Lennox.

Lennox and Parker/Hurley are the other teams in Vermillion's bracket, and one of them will be Vermillion's second-round opponent Tuesday, also at Lennox.

Other teams in the tournament, which continues through Saturday, Aug. 3, are Canton, Elk Point-Jefferson, Beresford and Dakota Valley.  Any games Vermillion plays after Tuesday will take place in Canton.
