An open house will be held for retiring Vermillion postmaster Michael Manning next week.
The event will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, July 27, in the lobby of the Vermillion Post Office, which is located at 16 Court St. Coffee and cookies will be served while they last.
Manning has served with the post office for more than 34 years.
