A reward has been offered for information leading to the arrest and conviction of suspects in a May burglary.
On May 23, a burglary occurred at 509 Linden St. where several jewelry items were stolen. The owner is now offering a $1,000 reward.
Detective Crystal Brady said the reward is being offered after nearly two months because of the time involved in investigating the case.
"We were following up with some suspects," she said. "We still have a suspect in mind, but we thought this might bring in some more information for us."
The owner of the residence was not at home at the time of the burglary, Brady said.
Additionally, this was the only such case Vermillion police know of that took place in that area, time and location, she said.
If anyone has information regarding the suspects of this burglary, they are encouraged to contact Brady at the Vermillion Police Department by calling (605) 677-7070.
