The University of South Dakota announced Wednesday that Coyote Sports Properties and Midco Sports Network have teamed up for the 2012-13 season as Midco Sports Network will broadcast up to 10 live Coyote sporting events and up to 24 weekly special shows featuring Coyote Athletics.
"We can't be more excited to add these games to our regional sports schedule and to further our commitment to great local athletic programs through our relationship with Coyote sports," said Midcontinent Communications Vice President of Business Solutions Mark Powell in a release Wednesday from Midco Sports Network.
In this multi-year agreement with Coyote Sports Properties and Learfield Sports, Midco Sports Network will also broadcast a weekly show, called The Coyote Corner, featuring game analysis, interviews and reporting of football and men's basketball, while touching on all aspects of the University's athletic program.
The Coyotes have enjoyed a good relationship with Midco Sports Network over the last five years and have had a number of games broadcast on the network including football, men's and women's basketball and volleyball. The 2012-13 season will mark the first year South Dakota is a full-fledged NCAA Division I member and eligible for the postseason in all sports.
