Blood drive to be held Sept. 23

The Community Blood Bank will be holding a blood drive Sunday, Sept. 23 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Vermillion.

Donors must be at least 17 years old – or 16 with a signed parental consent form – and weigh at least 110 pounds. The must also be in good health, and can not have a cold, fever, flu or sore throat at the time of donation.

It also is requested that donors eat a good meal before the drive, and drink plenty of water.
