Joyce Moore
Joyce Moore, Vermillion Public Library's youth services librarian, was awarded as the New Librarian of the Year at the South Dakota Library Association's annual conference on Oct. 4.
The award, given annually, is presented to someone in the first ten years in the profession.
Moore has been in her position for six years; she is responsible for
collections and programming for children and young adults, from birth through high school at VPL.
She was nominated by Jane Larson and Wendy Nilson.
