Friday, NOVember 2

  • Brown Bag lunch program, "The Mignarda Lute Song Duo" featuring Donna Stewart, mezzo soprano and Ron Andrico, lute at 12:05 p.m. at the National Music Museum located on USD campus, corner of Clark and Yale streets. Free and open to the public. Support for November's "Free Fridays" admission to the museum is made possible by Bank of the West.
  • Hospital Auxiliary meeting at Sanford Vermillion board room, 20 S. Plum (Administrative entrance) at 1:30 p.m.

Saturday, November 3

  • Overeaters Anonymous at 9 a.m. Location: Sanford Vermillion Medical Center, 20 S. Plum St., administration entrance just south of the hospital entrance in the board room. Overeaters Anonymous is a 12-step program for people with eating disorders and struggles.
  • Music Concert: USD Caribbean Coyotes Steel Band presents a concert at 7:30 p.m. at Colton Recital Hall in Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts on USD campus. Open to the public at no charge.
  • Music Show at Gayville Hall, 502 Washington St., Gayville, "The Hay Country Jamboree" with the Tune Band duo and Good People bands at 8 p.m. For ticket information, call (605) 267-2859.

Sunday, NOvember 4

  • The USD Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Dr. Eunho Kim and Dr. Marie-Elaine Gagnon, presents a fall concert at 3:30 p.m. in Colton Recital Hall, Warren M. Lee Center for the Fine Arts on USD campus. Open to the public at no charge.
  • Ashley Hogarth and Brady Ketelsen present their senior recital at 7 p.m. in Colton Recital Hall at Warren M. Lee Center for Fine Arts on USD campus. Open to the public at no charge.

Monday, November 5

  • Oral Interp: Local Showcase/Region Qualifier, at 4 p.m. (H).
  • Al-anon meeting at 7:30 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, corner of Main and Linden. For more information, call 624-9764.

Tuesday, November 6

  • Vermillion Rotary Club Meeting from noon-1 p.m. in the Freedom Forum Conference Room of the Al Neuharth Media Center.

Wednesday, November 7

  • 8th Annual Community Supper honoring our veterans from 5-8 p.m. Social begins at 5 p.m., opening ceremonies at 5:30 p.m., dinner starts at 6 p.m. at Vermillion Eagles Club, 114 W. Main St. Sponsored by USD Veterans Club.

Thursday, November 8

  • Cancer Support Group at 2:30 p.m. in the Sletwold Room, Trinity Lutheran Church, 816 E. Clark St. For additional information, call Marcy at 624-8706.

Donations may be sent to PO Box 585, Yankton, SD 57078 or dropped off at 601 1/2 Burleigh St. in Yankton.
