The Clay-Union Foundation is offering a $500 community service scholarship to Vermillion and Elk Point-Jefferson high school seniors who will graduate this spring and attend a four-year educational institution.
The scholarship application is available at http://www.clay-unionfoundation.org/ under the events tab, and may be returned by e-mail. The scholarship award winner will be announced at the spring awards program, with the funds awarded in their second semester.
Students are encouraged to apply to the scholarship, which will be due March 1. The board will then evaluate applications at its March meeting. The board hopes to have many applications to consider.
