Ray Miller, CNA, Sanford Care Center Vermillion, was selected as the Sanford Vermillion January 2013 PRIDE Employee of the Month. He has been employed here since December 2010.

Nominations for Miller included the following comments:
Personalized Service: Ray is so personal with the residents – always attentive and caring.
Respect: He has a wonderful attitude and treats everyone with respect and concern.
Innovation: Ray is a very hard worker – always helping out.
Dedication: He has worked here a long time and just gets better.
Excellence: He doesn’t slack off; he is always upbeat and helpful.
Additional Comments: The residents love Ray and he has such a wonderful way with them. It’s so nice to have him take such good care of everyone.

“Ray is very caring of all the residents and always demonstrates a professional attitude. He is well respected by staff and is always willing to help. He is a genuine asset to the facility,” said Gayle Matzke, director of nursing, Sanford Care Center Vermillion.

Miller is a native of Watertown, and resides in Vermillion. He attends the University of South Dakota majoring in Occupational Therapy. In his spare time Ray likes to body build.
